This is one of the most asked questions by bloggers, a lot of people don’t know when their site is ready and would get accepted by adsense.
There are certain things that would decide whether or not your website will get accepted by adsense. You just have to ask yourself the following questions and you yourself will come to know whether or not your site is ready for adsense.
How old is your website?
In many countries including China and India Google AdSense has a policy, that your website must be at least 6 months old. This is practiced by AdSense just to ensure that you have a genuine website and you are not indulged in any kind of spamming activity. If your website is 6 months old then you are good to go, otherwise you will have to wait until your site reaches 6 months mark.
How unique is your content?
According to Google AdSense policies you must have 100% unique content on your website. Unique content means that you must write your own posts and not copy it from anywhere else. If you are having unique content on your website then you are good to go.
How many posts do you have on your website?
Some people think that posts don’t matter but they do, as a matter of fact you should have at least 30 to 35 posts on your website for AdSense to approve your website. Google AdSense has not set any minimum limit on the number of posts but you should at least have 30 posts on your, I am saying this based on my past experience on my previous websites.
How long are your posts?
The length of posts is also very important for Google AdSense to approve your website. The posts of your site should contain anywhere between 350 to 500 words, they can be longer than that but should not be less than the above limit.
Do you use copyrighted images?
The use of copyrighted images is not recommended as AdSense might not approve your website if you are using copyrighted images. You must make your own images, but what if you can’t there is no need to worry.
www.flickr.com is a website that allows you to download and distribute images for free you can use those images. You can also browse through non copyrighted images by typing “Google advanced image search” in Google search this will take you to advanced Google image search where you can select the field that states “Images available for copying, modifying and redistributing” and you will get non copyrighted images that you can redistribute.
Do you have a Google Analytics and Google Webmasters Tools account?
Do you have a Google analytics and Google Webmaster Tools account, if not they make one and get your website added in these accounts.
Now you might be thinking what good would having these accounts do. Well they will surely help you as these accounts are linked to Google and if you add your website to these accounts prior to adding your website to Google AdSense, then Google would already have any idea what your site is about and there is a better chance that your website would get accepted for Google AdSense.
After judging your website based upon the above questions you can conclude whether or not your site is ready for adsense. If you think your site is ready then apply for adsense (How to apply for Google adsense?), if you think your site is not ready then make a few changes to make your site compatible with Google Adsense.
